Review : Forget the naysayers, this is one endearing game
For the most part, remakes tend to be incredibly tricky affairs. Either they're merely souped-up versions of the original with better graphics/sound etc or they actually completely alter the game and make it better(or worse). Silver Star originally was on the Sega CD and now we have it here. It even got a further port with Lunar Legend for the GBA. So don't listen to everyone harping about the graphics or simplistic story or battle engine, it's an enjoyable and lighthearted RPG that you just can't help but be drawn into.
Story: Alex living in Burg wants to be a Dragonmaster like his hero Dyne. Setting out with some friends he does exactly that along with meeting an enemy and discovering some secrets about the world he inhabits.
Graphics: Despite the fact this is a port from Sega CD to Playstation the graphics aren't the most inspiring. They're sprites and they're somewhat detailed while enemy design is quite generic. I couldn't count how many times I ran into...
