Review : another great title in the timeless shining force series
so im cruising amazon and i notice that only one other person has reviewed this game and honestly, i think it deserves more attention.
if you have played any of the other shining force titles you can expect the same sort of gameplay here that the previous titles offered with one big difference. there is no exploration. basically you are lead through the story from battlefield to battlefield and the freedom to run around and explore has been removed. while i was disappointed by this i dont feel that it takes too much away from the quality of the game. in fact, that was the only thing about the game i didnt really care for.
now, here are some good reasons to like this game. firstly, this game is a true sequel to the first shining force game and i love rpg sequels when done well. also, this game retains the tried and true battle system that brought shining force to the top of the srpg genre. i would say that the battles are very simillar to shining force 2...
