Review : Like the Atari 7800, an Underrated System
With their NES, Nintendo took control of the video game market by the mid to latter 80s. I'm one of the very few people who felt that both the Atari 7800 and the Sega Master System were the better systems. (Sadly though, Atari and Sega found themselves fighting over the small scraps of the market that were left after Nintendo devoured more than a lion's share.) Although I only had the luxury of playing a few SEGA games like "Rastan" and "Black Belt," I found that I liked the Sega games better than most of what Ninetendo had to offer. I don't know how many people would agree with me on this, but I found Sega to have better game play and graphics, while Nintendo survived more on commercial games that were somewhat tedious and redundant. (Duck Hunt and Mario to name 2) I'm certainly not saying Nintendo never put out any good games. But I honestly do feel that Sega put more time, work, and effort into their games while Nintendo just had a grasp of what was commercially big at the moment...
