The Amazon page says it's for the "Commodore 64c", however the picture shown is the original Commodore 64. This is significant because the 64c's had a slightly different sound chip, which altered the way some music sounded. Actually, they corrected a long-standing flaw in the original sound chip, but since programmers had been exploiting that flaw, the corrected chip is considered to be worse than the original.
As for the C64 itself, back in the early to mid 1980's, the Commodore 64 was THE computer to own. The Atari 8-bit computers were technically better in the graphics department, although hardly any games ever took advantage of that, and the Atari 8-bit line only had a fraction of the support that the C64 had. The Apple II line had worse graphics, usually dominated by orange and blue. MS-DOS systems of the time were typically limited to either B/W or 4-color CGA graphics, and like the Apple, used clunky analog joysticks at a time when virtually every other system had...
